Before my diploma I went to Helsinki for a year to collect enough credits to finish my studies. It was certainly more entertaining to collect the credits in a country of Alvar Aalto, where they love nature, wood, winter sports and Jori Hulkkonen. History of wooden architecture, Wood introduction, Industrial wood constructions, Great wood buildings and other interesting subjects. I played volleyball twice a week, we went to Mothers, M bar, I spent Christmas with Jane and Volker in Helsinki, NYE in Tallin. In spring we went to the Arctic circle with Felix, and before departure we also made a car trip to Norway.
